Angela's Story

Angela Lynn Morrow, 48, of McAlester, died at her home on Saturday, April 15, 2017.
The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bishop Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Bishop Chapel of Memories. Burial will be at Savanna Cemetery. The Rev. Marvin Dunn, Jason Dunn and the Rev. Steve McMahan will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Dexter Spence, Dalton Spence, Eddie Yarbrough, J.P. Bullock, Marshall Spence and Kyle Johnson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Riley West, Bill Thompson, David Johnson, Wayne Johnson, Melvin Ellis, Jeff Morrow, Troy Evans and Chance Rogers.
Angela was born on Oct. 16, 1968, to Gerald and Linda (Bloxham) Lefler, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She graduated from Savanna High School in 1986. She then attended Kiamichi Technology Center and received a diploma for Licensed Practical Nursing.
She worked for Blevins Nursing Home for 12 years and had worked at other nursing facilities.
She was a member of New Haven Bible Baptist Church in Krebs.
Angela was a bowler with the women's bowling league. She married Dennis Morrow on Sept. 22, 1995, in Wilburton.
Angela is survived by her husband, Dennis Morrow, of the home; sons, Dexter Spence and wife, Dasha, of Savanna, and Dalton Spence; daughter, Lindi Spence, of Savanna; grandchildren, Chesnee Rogers, Harleigh Rogers, Wyatt Rogers, and Pepper Spence; mother, Linda Yarbrough and husband, Ed, of McAlester; sisters, Billie Jo Bullock and husband, J.P., of Yukon, and Patty Dean, of McAlester; brothers, Eddie Yarbrough and wife, Karen, of Dibble, and Colton Pearson, of McAlester; aunts, Leda Canida and husband, Terry, of Coalgate, and Helen Intemann, of Oklahoma City, and numerous other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Lefler, and her grandparents.
Arrangements are entrusted to Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory of McAlester.
