Amanda Rose Jackson Amanda Rose Jackson, 29, of Oklahoma City, formerly of McAlester, died Monday, September 3, 2018, in Oklahoma City.
There will be a family and friends visitation today from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home.
Funeral services are set for Friday, September 7, at 2 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Chapel in McAlester with the Rev. Chip Lott officiating. Burial will be at Tannehill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester.
Amanda Rose Jackson was born on April 8, 1989, in San Diego, California, to Jim and Rosalie Jackson. Amanda came to McAlester at the age of 7 with her family. She graduated from Indianola High School in 2007.
After high school, she attended Oklahoma University in Norman.
She spent most of her time in Oklahoma City. She worked at the Cattleman's Restaurant for eight years.
She enjoyed spending time with her son, Henrik, and being with family and friends.
Amanda is survived by one son, Henrik Edward Heinken, of the home; parents, Jimmy and Rosalie Jackson, of McAlester; two brothers, Andrew Jackson and wife, Amanda, of Savanna, and Earl Jackson, of McAlester; one sister, Amy Jackson-Glover and husband, Jordan, of Torrance, California; paternal grandmother, Ruth Sanders, of Krebs; maternal grandfather, Harry Dennis, of McAlester; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Dennis, of Dewey, Arizona; niece, Autumn Jackson, of Savanna, and uncles and aunts from Tennessee, Johnny Jackson, Jennifer Jackson, Sonny Helms and Robby Helms.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Teddy Edward Jackson; niece, Ella Rose Glover, and uncles, Harry Dennis Jr. and Wesley Corder.
