Service for Alma Imogene "Gene" Clagg will be at 10 a.m. today, February 2, at Blue Star Church of Christ in Claremore.
Gene passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018, in Frisco, Texas. She was 93.
Born on December 22, 1924, to Roy Wylie Sutton and Ila T. Sutton (Adams). Sometime after graduating high school, Gene met Glen Lester Clagg. They eventually were married on December 28, 1945, in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Gene was a longtime member of the Blue Star Church of Christ in Claremore.
Gene is survived by her daughters, Diane Cruz and her husband, Tony, of Little Elm, Texas, and Glenda Whitt, of Kent Washington; brothers, Loyd Sutton and his wife, Alice, of Tulsa, Cecil Sutton and his wife, Ruby, of Kansas, and Roy Sutton and his wife, Bella, of Missouri; sister, O'Leta Thomas; nine grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Gene was preceded in death by her husband, Glen; son, Dennis Clagg, and sister, Edith Leeth.
